Born deep in Buckinghamshire countryside, Mumfudden Suns came together to play some of their favourite music, and take it out on the road, and all over the world!

Not content to simply play the best Mumford-inspired music to a high level, Gary and the boys promise to give you a night to remember with dancing, fun and big sing-alongs with a unique Mumford twist!

Whether you want a roaming set with one or two lads, or the full band with a DJ setup, we can take care of all things music for the big day!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far in advance should we book Mumfudden Suns for our wedding?

A: To secure your date, we highly recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, particularly for peak summer weekends (May to September) as our calendar fills up quickly.

Q: What equipment does the band bring to the venue?

A: Mumfudden Suns comes fully self-contained with a professional, high-end PA sound system and stage lighting dynamic enough to cover everything from intimate venues to large wedding halls.

Q: How long does it take for the band to set up and soundcheck?

A: We typically require between 60 to 90 minutes to safely load in, set up our full acoustic/electric instrument array, and run a complete soundcheck before your guests enter.

Q: Can the band learn our specific first dance song?

A: Absolutely! We love making your day personal. We can learn and perform your special first dance song in our unique indie folk style, provided the track is confirmed a few weeks prior to the event.

Q: Do you offer acoustic or roaming sets for the daytime drinks reception?

A: Yes! We can provide a completely unplugged, acoustic roaming set with one or two lads for your afternoon drinks reception, followed by the high-energy full band or DJ setup for the evening party.

What We Offer

The All-Conquering Party Band!

Available in a range of sizes, we guarantee to set the evening on fire! With acoustic/lead vocals, banjo/electric guitar, bass/backing vocals and drums, you have everything you need for the Mumford-vibe!

The group comes self-contained with their own awesome PA system, party lighting and DJ-style music before, between and after the 2 x 1hr sets which we perform as standard. This can be split into 3 x 40mins sets if required, or extended to up to three hours of performing.

First Dance Performance

Let us know your dream first dance song and we will make it a reality! We can also learn songs for Father/Daughter dances, custom arrangements to complement your choreography, and make sure it’s a truly special moment to remember forever!

Ceremony & Reception Performances

A popular addition to our evening band is a performance during the wedding ceremony and the reception immediately afterwards. Quite often we’ll be asked to play while guests arrive, for the signing of the register, as the couple leave the ceremony and then for the drinks reception thereafter.

This can be performed in a ‘roaming’ or ‘wandering’ capacity, where the band members walk between your guests, or in a more traditional performance in a fixed location. A popular choice for this is a duo from the band, typically consisting of the lead singer/guitarist and the banjo/electric guitarist.

DJ Service

Our evening band comes with this as standard, however if you preferred to have the guys just for the ceremony, we can also offer a DJ for the evening, making it a more cost-effective way of having the best of both worlds!

Complete with DJ booth, disco lighting, and PA system, our DJs will tailor the sets to keep your guests wanting more!
